Today on PBS

Imagine showing the new and improved Dodge Challenger...that gets 13 to 18 miles per gallon, a must have in every one's garage.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Who in their right mind HAS TO HAVE A MUSCLE CAR in this day and time? Well, not me, nor anyone in our household. Can you say MOPED?

Death to Detroit? Will they ever get it right? Not soon enough! Hey, couldn't they see it coming? A revolution is coming to pass!

The price of a gallon of gas now equals a meal from happy jack...that's ONE meal from happy jack. "Now let's see Maw, are you cooking tonight, or shall we go down to happy jack and feed us and thu kids?" "Ugh, Paw, that's five of us, ugh, times $4.99, ugh, I could put in five gallons of gas to get to work this week...let's just open up the weenie beanies and crackers."

I can't wait to see how all of this affects our society?

Call me cynical, but somehow, with all that has come down the pike, much less, what is coming down, I don't see many folks buying the bigger, better, muscle cars, hemi-trucks, suv's this year...like the old dinosaurs of times past...my guess is that times are long past of Proud Mama driving her luxury behemoth to ferry the children all about in the Hummer gas-guzzler. These "must haves" will see the scrap yard long before they roam the road again.

After all baby or babies must go to college, take dance, play soccer. Where is the funds coming from? Many are robbing Peter to pay Paul now. To fill up a 10 gallon tank on a Honda is nearly forty dollars.

I do remember when gas was a mere thirty-two cents a gallon...a hundred years ago. And I'm 55...the speed limit.

Another passing thought, are the days long gone of weekend "cruisin"?

Hey Sunday's will be a pinch to drive now (if you can afford to) as there will be no more lol's (little ole ladies) on pensions, riding around in their Caddy's or Continentals at 15 mph. Looks like the high cost of gas will cut into their gossip time.

Dang, don't the rag heads know they are changing forever more the lifestyles of social norms?

Ahhh, but is that their purpose? That must be it. They get us used to our addictions and then wham, bam, thank you mam...they yank it from us.

Better be careful, they may not like a lol insurrection! Scary thought, huh?

That's not what she said...

Saw it first published on Drudge Report today, my home page, and once again, Obama has it wrong, as does his cronies. However, how slick if the inference was to be subtle.

Kennedy was assassinated in June, but it, her inference, had no reference to Obama or the campaign itself, but her husband's campaign. How easy it is to find something to point one's finger to, when they are so close in this season of elections.

Now I noticed that weeks ago, during a campaign speech, when Obama pointed his middle finger and scratching his face, inferred something derogatory about Clinton...not so much fuss was raised. How ironic that he can smirk at his remarks against Clinton, yet her mention of the word "assassinate" makes such headlines, when she did not mention in the same breath, her opponent's name.

Am I for Clinton? No. Am I for McCain? No Am I for Obama? No. Ron Paul? No. Anyone running for office? No. I don't find anyone I can relate to in this mad dash to gain residence in Wishingtonia. There is too much rhetoric from these died in the wool sheeple for me.

Will I forgo voting this year? Probably.

And so you say...well then "You are part of the problem." I doubt it. I found politics extremely distasteful within the last 20 years. The sheeple have lost respect and desecrated what our founding father's intended, but as I have discovered, some of them were sheeple...but today, yikes!

My freedoms have been stolen from me by idiots who win elections, move to Wishingtonia and make destructive decisions that affect all of us. For those who have eyes to see...wake up you sheeple and realize our mere existence depends on fools elected to office for personal gain, not for you and I.
